This image was captured during the peak of mid-winter; ice covering the landscape and clear skies overhead. 
 
When capturing this image, my original intention was to capture a generic landscape image of the sunset with the backdrop of Glastonbury Tor. What I was not to realise was the effect the weather at that time was having with the local horizon. If you look closer at the image, the ‘green-flash’ phenomenon can be seen. This is the result of  a thick, turbulent atmosphere causing the sun to ‘seperate’. On closer inspection, a rarer blue flash can be seen.
 
The print will come carefully packaged within a sealed cello pack and supporting board for protection during transit.
